Facing Jose and His Team

 Pre match review

Bailly in and Lindelof on the bench, pretty much a safe side but can they play to their potential and get a good result out of it??? Well its 50-50 for both the teams. May be a Mctominey for Matic but I will still go with Ole and see if that change is needed later in the game. Ole and Jose haven't had the best of comments over last couple of weeks. Son carrying an injury and Wan-Bissaka hopefully will take care of his side. And a kick off #BlakLifeMatters #AllLifeMatters

Crazy 45

Thirty two seconds and Martial is brought down with the penalty duly converted by Fernandes. Lot of penalties is what pundits talk about when it comes to ManUtd winning penalties. Well we see Spurs equalise in no time, a huge mistake by Maguire and more day dreaming from the defence and Spurs lead. Mistake after mistake by the defence is not acceptable. One dirty game played by Spurs is understood but ManUtd lost its composure and played into their hands and kept conceding.

Defence - Bailly pass to the centre of the D to Matic to play off from the defence was beyond ridiculous, even an amateur defender would not commit such a mistake.

Maguire made three huge mistakes, not standing over the ball after the foul, header back to the goalkeeper and pulling his own player down, standing upright and then defending a cross that was tapped into the goal by Son, that isn't what ManUtd wanted in a crunch game.

Second 45

Nothing shot of drama to begin with, conceded early again and then Spurs simply kept passing and we ran out of ideas. One man down and high intensity match is just not something that this ManUtd team is capable of handling. One more goal with Pogba conceding a penalty, the humiliation was complete.

One talking point was Fred running all over the place doing all the hard work and then gifts it back to Spurs. Bench strength is a worry as well.

To sum it, 6-1 a HUMILIATING DEFETE

The beginning blues for the RED side

Theatre of Dreams I have heard of it, but never made it to the 'Theatre of Dreams', fans from other Clubs would be envious about not only in England but beyond, of this beautiful fortress. Unfortunately this fortress been breached more that the share that would be tolerated by its Fans.  Sir Alex has for sure left a void but things have to move on and the next legend is what the fans across the world are looking for. No one is bigger than the club, but if you are chosen to play for this club, you better be prepared for an attitude that comes along with the culture that is second to none. Home game Vs Crystal Palace The line up did surprise me a bit, James or Greenwood. I preferred Greenwood, of course he was in the news for all wrong reasons but the boy needs to change things and what best, than a good game to shift focus. But Ole had other thoughts, probably to protect him.  A make shift defence for the visiting team was a huge plus for us and of course home ground (not ...

Chelsea in Old Trafford

A big match, both the defence were under scrutiny for sometime now. A good outing last week against New Castle and a good midweek Champions league game against PSG a welcome release for Ole. Confidence for Reds but should not get into over confidence is what all United Fans will be hoping for. On the other hand Chelsea had a good outing and confidence soaring as well. Two home defeats on the trout was a worry for the Reds. Nervy and tentative first half Trusted eleven is what Ole had gone with switching back to the four at the back. Packed midfield and probably the heat map would be showing completely red in the middle of the park and slightly on the Chelsea half. With both the teams having phase upfront, the midfield was looking for an error from reach other. Last seven to ten min saw some brisk phase but other wise a very tentative first half.  Should have looked up a little bit more missing out on swift passes and the missed chance from Rashford.  Work rate from McTominay a...

Against Bielsa's Leads at Home

Almost the same quad from last season but with a higher level of confidence, two decent signings and the players with a fresh mindset. The mindset is definitely on the up...the crowds are in and the football sound is on. We all know how well Leads play, with their attacking mindset but with a touch of strategic class from Bielsa.  The lads seem to be a lot more confident with most of them having a good outing for their respective countries. Maguire and Shaw have made the two position their own. Lindelof's getting the captain's arm band for his country puts him in a much better state of mind. Wan Bissaka his usual self. McTominay, Fred occupying the middle Pogba flanking the left and Dan James on the right. Bruno attacking from the middle with Greenwood upfront.  Greenwood showing some good intent, Dan James better than last year but has more work to do apart from managing his phase. Pogba a shadow of himself when it comes to finishes but his assists are of course right up ther...
